Do you see something like administrative tools in accessories or in control
pannel.

  This is another simple fix:
  Check to make sure you have only your current version in your system tray.
  Also, you might go to services in your control pannel and make sure Jaws is
running as a service.
  This service should say "started."
  If it says "stoped" or "manual" set it to automatic. HTH
