Download the java runtime and java access bridge from java.sun.com. IE by
default has java script if that's what they mean but you need the runtime for
java. It was poor naming convention for whoever named java script as it has
nothing to do with java. I point this out because some web authors don't make
the distinction. If you need to enable java script, You can do it the easy way
in internet options of explorer by setting your security settings to medium or
default level. Don't to forget to hit enter on apply if necessary and ok after
making the changes and to say yes to any confirmation messages.

Subject: java on web pages

I am trying to use a calculator on a web page that says I need to have a
java-enabled browser. I am using internet explorer 6 with jaws version 5.1.
How do I enable java so that I can use this web page?
