Hi We are both using the same server abnd no we do not use
authentacation. It did not evden ask for any info when she opened
it. The only thing it gave was that it was not the default mail
client and she does not want it to be the default mail client. I
know when I installed the software it asked me all of my display name
and stuff like that, but it did not ask her that.

You need to put in the proper smtp server as well and find out whether her isp requires authentication. You can set this up on the "sending mail tab" under tools/options by checking of unchecking the box "requires authentication".
