First, turning off the toolbar disables the pop-up blocker and everything
else,
because those are functions of the toolbar.

Second, you bypass the pop-up blocker by pressing either Control or Shift
with the Enter key when you click on a link that won't open because of the
pop-up blocker. You can tell that's happening, because you'll hear a little
"click" sound, and see that the link hasn't opened some new page that's in
the category of a pop-up for some reason, or whatever. So just try again,
this time pressing either Shift or Control,l.
ouliables turns off all

OK, question. By turning off the Google tool bar, does this disable
it's pop up blocker functionality? Also, how does one bypass the Google
blocker? I don't have the Google tool bar on my system, but someone I
know does and it blocks them from accessing certain audio streams. I
don't know how to tell her to bypass it. Thanks.

You can also turn off the Google toolbar without uninstalling it.

1. Press Alt V to bring up the View menu.
2. You will be at the Toolbars option. It has a sub-menu.
3. Open this sub-menu with right arrow.
4. Press down arrow to get to Google Toolbar. It will be checked.
5. Press enter to remove the check.

The Google toolbar will no longer show up in Internet Explorer. If you
need
it again, you don't have to re-install it. You can reverse what I wrote
to
make the toolbar show up again.

Francis
