Hi,
If you are running Jaws standard, which is for windows 98, ME, and XP home,
then in order to be authorized to run a full version of Jaws on windows XP
Pro, then you will have to upgrade to Jaws Professional.
There will be a cost for this upgrade. If you have a maintance agreement,
then you will also have to upgrade that maintance agreement to Jaws
Professional also.
I just had to do this for work purposes and it cost myself about $320.
For yourself, you would have to contact Freedom Scientific.
It would definitely be better if you could get Gateway to change it to XP
home. That way you would not have to upgrade Jaws.
