Actually, the name of the list is in the recipient's address, the TO field.
I had the same problem and it caused me to look at generating a rule to put
the messages in a particular folder.
In my case I transfer the messages to the deleted items folder and use
Alex's idea to sort them by conversation.

Use the RULES WIZZARD under tools in outlook to create a rule that looks
something like this.

Apply this rule after the message arrives
with FREELISTS.ORG in the recipient's address
move it to the Deleted items folder

You can put the entire list's address in if you like.

You can set up a folder other than deleted items to put messages in.

The rule won't help with any current messages; however, it will stop the
problem from occurring in future.

I have set up one rule for each list that I get messages from. You can put
different lists in different folders that way if you like.

Hope this helps.

Mike

Hi, bran,

I don't know that there is a way to remove them all in one fell swoop but
what I would suggest to kind of cut them down to size is this:

When Outlook comes up hit your shift+ctrl+i to get you to the inbox. Then,
hit alt+v for view which shoud put yiou right at current view submenu. Hit
right arrow to open and it'll give you a list of viewing options. Arrows
down till you see by conversation topic. It'll chop them up into groups of
tens and twenties and if you land on one and hit delete it gets rid of the
whole thing. Easier to manage. I would've suggested by sender as the view
option but the way the list is set up, it'll bring up the name of the list
subscriber and not the listserve address so it won't sort it out for you
very well. Conversation topic is the most manageable in my opinion.

Thanks, Hope that helps,

Using microsoft outlook 2000.

I got to work and have around six hundred messages.
Most of these are fromm the jaws list.
What would be the best way to locate these in one fell swoop.
Thanks in advance.
Brian
