eloquence speech drops too low

I know there is a setting in synthesizer options to fix it so Eloquence
doesn't drop down while reading long lines. The pitch seems to lower quite
a bit and I think, if I remember correctly, it might have something to do
with a frequency setting. Should this setting be put to a lower or higher
number than the default setting to make the pitch more stable? Thanks. By
the way I'm using the new Jaws 5 and XP.
