You can use drag and drop to do what you want, but there's no reason to go
to the trouble. Had you hit ctrl+end before pasting your letter into the
letterhead document, the letterhead would have appeared on top. Even once
you failed to do so, you could have selected the letter text, cut it to the
clipboard, then pasted it below the letterhead.

If this isn't clear, then a bit of basic Windows training would probably
solve the problem.

Subject: drag and drop with Jaws in a Word document

Hi All

I wrote a letter in Word and then had to get this letter on a letterhead
that was sent to me electronically and that was also in a Word document
(letterhead at the top and the rest of the document blank).

I copied my letter and paste it into the Word document containing only the
letterhead.

For some or other mysterious reason, the letterhead moved down and the
letter appeared at the top (letterhead at the bottom).

A sighted friend managed to drag the letterhead to the top and dropped it
where it should be - at the top of the document - above my letter.

How can I do the same?

I am using the latest version of Jaws and XP Home and Word 2000.

Thanks!

Renette
