I tried to create what you are facing. Hit insert, alt S for
proofreading schemes. Arro down to color and hit enter. It would not
read the different color in say all mode, but did line-by-line.

Subject: determining colors of text with JFW

Hi All,
How can I determine what color certain text is written in, and is there
a
way to be notified if another color is encountered while reading? I'm
talking specifically about documents that I open in MSWord, but at times
I
also need to know the color of the text on web pages as well.

Thanks.
Troy
