Julie,
Try this,
Open your e-mail client, and compose your message to your customer.
While in the message, press ALT I , this will open the file attachment
dialogue.
Select, file attachment and press enter
Now you can browse your computer for the file you wish to attach.
Once this shows up in the edit field, tab until you hear the, attach button,
and press enter.
Now, you should be able to shift tab, back through the messageheadings and
your attachment should show in the file attachments.
Send your message as you normally would.
Richard Justice

Subject: creating attachment in OE

> Hi all, need some help. I am using XP home and jaws 5.0, and OE from
Office XP. I sent a mail for my boss yesterday to a customer, and he
replied and asked if we could send it as an attachment because he couldn't
print a picture that was included in the message. How would I go about
sending just the picture part of the message or the entire message as an
attachment? My boss wrote the message and saved it in my shared folder.
so, I went to the document, which he creates in excel, and I highlighted all
copied, and then pasted into a message in OE. any suggestions to help me
accomplish this task, would be greatly appreciated. Mailing in general is
no problem but this particular thing is new to me. thanks in advance, and
the sooner the better. smiles.
