I'd be surprised if there was anything which would be good enough to read the letters in the graphics you talk about. I seem to recall when I could see a bit that it was hard enough as a sighted person, indeed I know sighted people who say they sometimes have to try more than once to get it right as the letters are so far from their normal appearance.

They are decisigned in such a way to prevent a computer recognising hte text and automatically signing up for the services.

Subject: bypassing capchas?

Hi all,
Someone told me that there are now softwares that OCR the screen and therefore can recognise the characters of capchas in order to make it possible to fill them in, does anyone know more about this or of any other good way of somehow bypassing a capcha? I know this sounds illegal, but I'm really sick of the fact as to how much this new, awful, inaccessible technology has pervaded itself on the internet, I can hardly join or post on forums, and now days many sites use them for filling in simple forms, emailing people or downloading software. It also doesn't help to email the sites, as many times the addresses don't work or noone responds to an email asking for help.
