Hi Frances:
1. Get into your JAWS window either using alt-tab or insert-J.
2. Hold down the alt key and press H for the JAWS help menu.
3. Arrow down to Check for Updates and press enter.
If there is a later 9.0 update out there you will get it and it will be
installed. After that, you should be able to use AVG 8 without any
problems. Keep in mind that AVG 8 works a bit differently than AVG 7.5.
