RE: any Kurzweil users on this list

Hi Anne:

When you uninstalled your Kurzweil 1000, did you by chance uninstall the
software that came with your scanner, assuming that you had to install
drivers to get the scanner to work?  Did you have the scanner on when
you re-installed Kurzweil so it could find your scanner?  I would
suggest you uninstall and re-install Kurzweil, and make sure that you
have your scanner on.  You can also go to start menu->control
panel->add/remove programs and in the list of programs, see if you have
any HP scanner software still there.
