Peter,

Yes, generally I just need to slow down and let JAWS/Excel catch up.

Yes and sometimes JAWS seems to get a bit stuck when doing complicated
formulas and you haven't got everything you need in the formula. Then when you
arrow around it doens't move. Very strange.

  Kevin,

Use f2 to open the formula. Then Ctrl+LeftArrow or Ctrl+RightArrow will move
through chunks of the formula. Otherwise, just the arrow keys.

I have noticed that there is often a delay in speaking the characters, and
sometimes they are spoken twice. Just go back-and-forth a couple times to be
sure you've correctly read the characters.

This may be due to the size of the formula bar. Also I've found better
results when the window is maximized.

When reading a long formula in a cell, how do I get Jaws to read individual
components?
