Not now, but rumour has it microsoft bought Freedom Scientific and there's talk of implementing a screen reader into Windows 7.

Hi allCould someone tell me about the status of accessible unattended installation of windows, I.E the possibility that a totally blind person could install windows independently. Has anyone been pressuring MS to enact this feature? I would think that something has had to come up with the development of windows 7 and its "eas of use" thing.I'm sorry if this is an annoying question or if it has been asked before it's just that I was thinking about installing windows 7 on a computer to try it out and wanted to know if I could enjoy the luxury of having a speech guided experience.Regards Justin Harford -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwAlternative archives located at: http://n2.nabble.com/JAWS-for-Windows-f2145279.htmlIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
