Hi, Troy. Another option you might consider, if you haven't already, is installing Firefox, which found even more on the website than IE6 with pictures on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Troy Burnham" <homerun@xxxxxxxxx>

I ended up having to contact fs tech support because as I mentioned
yesterday my pictures were already showing and at least the web sites that
I'm interested in some of the edit fields were still hidden. It was
suggested that I upgrade to IE 7 so as soon as I find the podcast that
Jonathan Mosen and Eric Damery did discussing Jaws and IE 7 I plan to
upgrade. Of course I have no idea if just upgrading the browser will help
or not.

This morning I tried Ann Byrne's suggestion (see below) for turning on "show pictures" to gain access to some online edit fields. Before I turned it on,
I couldn't access a certain website; after I did, I could. So thank you.

G.W. Cox wrote off-list to tell me a quicker way of reaching the "show
pictures" option. Once in the advanced tab under "options" within "tools,"
press "s" until you hear it spoken. With XP and IE6, I find I need to press
"s" only five times.

If you have pictures turned off in Internet Explorer, JAWS can't see edit
fields associated with them. Under accessibility--in Windows, not JFW.

Hello All,

I have been on several web sites lately using Jaws 9 where an edit field
that was supposed to be there wasn't at least as far as Jaws was concerned
and I was wondering if anybody could give me some ideas of settings to
change to make these edit fields show? I generally keep inline frames hidden except on certain web pages where I have found that I need them showing, and in most cases I have Jaws set where it only shows me tagged graphics, but I have even unloaded Jaws and loaded it with the default settings and got the
same results in all cases, Jaws doesn't detect the edit fields that are
supposed to be there.

Thanks.
