If I remember correctly some people had problems with Jaws6.0 reading menus and sub-menus. I suggest upgrading to 6.1.

Thanks; Gene

Subject: XP Start Menu and Jaws 6

Hi,
I believe I have made all the correct settings changes recommended for Jaws
in XP Home, but am noticing something odd with the Start Menu.

The Start Menu is set to Windows Classic.

Often, when I press P for Programs, and then try to select an item, it is as
if it isn't there, or Jaws isn't reading it.

I close Programs, and then, if I go back into it, then everything appears to
be listed.

I am wondering if I have missed something, or if this is just some kind of
peculiar behavior with this notebook.

Crystal
