Word/Excel

I am using JAWS 7, windows XP Pro and Office 2003.  I know in word there
is a hot key to underline text.  Is there a hot key to put a double
underline under text?  Then in Excel how do you protect some of the
cells so that you can't edit in them?  Thanks in  advance.
