Wondering if JAWS 6 stops speaking more with software synthesizers or because of Service Pack 2

Hi,
as I just said, I wonder whether the "pausing" of JAWS when closing files
comes from using a software synthesizer or because of Service Pack 2.
I would make a guess that Service Pack 2 plus JAWS 6 helps create the
situation when jAWS halts or pauses or hesitates in speaking when closing
files or
arrowing through list view of files.
