I can't get the status dialog to announce automatically, nor the scan result screen, nor the description windows on each item when tabbing through the options controls. The controls read fine, but they could use some scripting to work better with speech.

Thanks,

Hi, I don't seem to have problems using Windows Defender without scripts under Vista Home Premium. The same is true for XP. The Vista Home Premium laptop has JAWS 9, and the Windows XP laptop has JAWS 8, and they all seem to work fine with Windows Defender. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

Hi,
Does anyone have scripts for Windows Defender? It doesn't speak all that well under Vista, and I don't want to create scripts for it if the already exist elsewhere.
How well does Windows Defender work on XP?

Thanks,
Dennis Brown
