Hi, All. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good, JAWS-friendly program I could use to burn an archive created with 7-Zip to DVD instead of CD. Normally, I use CDRWIN for creating data DVDs and CDs, and Winamp for making audio CDs. The problem is that when I copy the file to DVD using CDRWIN, even though it's well over 4 gigs, CDRWIN claims it's only taking up 384MB of space, which makes me think it's losing some of the file. If it helps, I'm using Windows XP with the latest version of JFW. I tried doing this with Easy Media Creator version 7.5...I used Creator Classic, and though it doesn't work too well with JAWS, thanks to the routing keys on my PACMate's braille display, I was able to select the file I wanted. The problem is, apparently now when you select "Data Disc" as your type of project, it won't let you burn it as a Data DVD, only a CD...The main reason I want to use DVDs for this project is because it will take only five of them, but would take about 33 or so CDs. In past versions of Easy Media Creator, you COULD burn a data DVD. Anyone have a good suggestion for a program that will do this propperly? I put the same question out on 7-Zip's forum, and was told "Use a different program to write the disc. Yours obviously doesn't work". Yeah, thanks, I kinda figured that out. Feel free to respond to me privately at wesderby@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I'll log in to the list archive periodically as I have the list mail set to "Vacation" mode since I don't get to check my mail often and usually by the time I do, I have a few hundred messages from this list alone. :-) --- Visit me on Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/wesderby Now, I actually remember to log in and check it!
