Among others, an advantage of reading the paper's own website is that you
can take advantage of links embedded in the articles. The NFB version
contains no links.

Stan, did you use the website before with other versions of JAWS?

I don't seem to have any problem navigating the Washington Post site using
JAWS 9. From the posts of members on this and other lists, it sounds like
JAWS 12 has a lot of glitches that apparently hamper its performance. The
alternative to reading the Washington Post from its web site would be to
sign up with NFB Newsline Online which would allow you to navigate and read
the Washington Post more easily and efficiently, not to mention hundreds of
other newspapers and magazines.

Listers: I have been trying to read the Washington Post online with Jaws 12
on an XP machine.

The website seems to be very slow, clunky and grinding.

Is anyone successfully reading this site with Jaws 12? Any tips about how
to get best results?

Stan
