As I understand it, the 'academic' version or 'educational' version is
priced differently (cheaper) but you are supposed to be in education to
qualify for it ....I'm not one hundred per cent sure about this, but I
think that's the situation.

Subject: Visual Basic 6.0

Hi all,
I have an opportunity to purchase Visual Basic 6.0 Professional. It is
the academic version, but is suppose to be the full professional
version! What is the difference between the academic professional
version and the regular Professional version? I don't mind purchasing
the academic version as long as I am going to get the same piece of
software! Any help or guidance would be appreciated!! Chris Chaffin
