Virtual cursor not working, JAWS 10 latest version

Hi all:
I booted up my computer a few minutes ago and began to have problems with
internet explorer. I realized the virtual cursor is not turning on. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled JAWS 10, switched to JAWS 9, tried Firefox, all
without success. Any suggestions as to why I can not get the virtual cursor
to work?
