Chris, I uninstalled all references to the Sentinel System Drivers, as they were impacting my parallel printer port. It's only needed if you have a dongle, and really makes no sense that it's installed with any version of JAWS. It's nice to at least be able to examine the screen contents again, although honestly, after so much time on the phone on Friday, I have no idea what changed this time to fix the problem. Now I'm getting an error at startup that the braille driver cannot be loaded. This is weird, since I have no Braille display installed, and none picked in Jaws. When I go into Synthesizer and Braille Manager, under Braille Displays, I have only "no display" showing up in the list. And, after being instructed to retrieve an activation code from FSActivate, I do so, and after pasting it in the right field I get: SentinelLM: Error[17]: Probably no servers are running on this subnet. SentinelLM: Error[4]: License server hostname not specified correctly. Set environment variable LSHOST to (colon-separated) name(s) of server(s). Client Activator Error Code: 30004 But, I'm further ahead than I was yesterday. The fun continues!
