Hi Sir,
I might have a thought on this one for you only because I spent literally
hours battling with FS in an effort to convince them that this problem was
in fact real.
My question for you is this on your system running Jaws 8.0 was it a clean
install; and do you also have jaws 7.1 on that machine as well? We found
that if Jaws 7.1 appeared on the same machine with 8.0 for some reason the
EBay page got broken but worked just fine on machines where only version 7.0
was present by itself. Speaking strictly for myself when I uninstalled both
7.0 and 7.1 and did a clean install of the latest version of 8.0 the problem
with the ebay form seemed to disappear as if by magic.
Let me know if any of this helps you out. It is a most distressing problem
and while it is true that it was linked to a change in design of the EBay
page it wasn't solely their fault as there was also something broken with
the way Jaws 8.0 was interacting with the page as well. It's never simple
is it (smile)?
Have a great day.
Robin

Subject: Very odd JFW and eBay behavior

Using this new laptop and JFW 8.0.latest build, the eBay selling form is
not accessible, there is no edit field for entering the description.

But, if I move to my desktop running JFW 7.0, the seller's form works
properly. I cannot determine what the setting differences are between the
two versions, they appear as identical as they can be, given the slight
differences between 7 and 8. The computers are obviously different, but
still, this is a very odd situation. Any thoughts, ideas or helpful hints
would be deeply appreciated.

Dan
