I use Adobe Acrobat Standard Version 7.0. Works fine with reading, of course. I
can create PDF files from scanned images or from original MS-Word documents,
etc. I haven't had any time or inclination to use any of the editing tools, so
I don't know if they are accessible.

Hey, I just downloaded the trial of acrobat 9 pro. I've looked at the jaws
help file and even online, but they mostly deal with reader. Does anyone know
if jaws is accessible with acrobat? I want to create a document. Is that
possible?

And just another thing since I'm new, does jaws let you type right into the
document, or is that not an acrobat feature at all?

  Thanks a bunch.
