I know some of you have done this successfully so I hope you can give me some
advice.

I purchased a USB to COMM adaptor this afternoon so I can add my DecTalk to my
notebook computer.

I installed the software, an apparently simple enough task, didn't see any
selections for establishing which COMM port I assumed COMM1, I then ran JAWS
maintenance and added the Dec Express to COMM1 default settings just like when
I used it with my desktop computer.

Trouble is that it don't work!

I have looked for the software in the Programmes directory but all there is
there is an uninstaller. There doesn't seem to be anything in the system tray.

Eventually I will find some eyes to read the little amount of information which
came with the USB to serial converter which may also help.

Thanks for any advice or assistance.
