...and what does all this have to do with JAWS? ----- Original Message ----- From: CrisMunoz54 To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, February 25, 2010 15:04 Subject: RE: Use of mp3merge.exe I had an issue with it not working correctly and I wrote the guy who wrote the program. He said to check the merge raw stream check box in preferences. That sometimes it had to do with the mp3 file's this or that setting. Long story short, it worked. Also, I've found that for whatever reason, files wouldn't merge, but when typing a number at the end of album (usually the number 1) everything would be fine. If for example I have a bunch of files to merge such as numerous discs in an audiobook and I have this issue. I merge the files and after everything's done, I just retag the new merged files to take away those numbers on the end of the album title so everything's tagged properly. Hope this information helps. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dave Carlson Sent: Thursday, February 25, 2010 2:56 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Use of mp3merge.exe Is this a JAWS question, or a MIDI-Mag question? We installed it on her computer, and it was working fine. Later, we tried to use it, and, although we could open the program, select the files to merge, and open them, when we either click the merge button, or use alt+m for the shortcut key to merge the files, no output file is created, and the files are not merged. We tried deleting the .exe file, and putting another copy back, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance. Bill White billwhite92701@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
