Thanks for mentioning that you thought the current AdAware scripts were
probably updated to work optimally with Jaws 8, if that's what you applied
them to during the install. I just went to that site and downloaded and
installed them, and when I went to my settings/enu folder to see what they
looked like, I saw a lot of files dated from 2003 to mid-2006,which didn't
seem as if they'd been intended specifically for Jaws 8, but then how
would
I understand. I just ran AdAware, and it works as well as usual, so I
guess
that's fine.
I did find one file with a later date, but in fact it was dated today,
whatever that's about. No programmer, I. The filename is ad-aware.jsb. I
have no idea what all this means, but I hope it represents even some tiny
improvement in accessibility of some control or other. Just ran AdAware
and
didn't notice any difference from using my earlier scripts that I applied
to
7.0.
As I say, I assume it's at least harmless. Right?
