Dennis, I tried to use these instructions you provided, but had no luck with doing a file attachment. These instructions look a lot like the steps used to add a file attachment in the old version of Hotmail, except that there were no combo boxes to choose the type of file attachment. I couldn't get this beast to work with JAWS version 7.0, and JAWS kept going silent on me when I tried to navigate around to find a button, link, or combo box that was labeled "Attach." Microsoft has taken a giant step backwards in screen-reader accessibility with Windows Live Hotmail. Another list member posted a link to a Hotmail Mobile page that I found to be very JAWS friendly for reading or sending emails, but it doesn't seem to have any option for adding attachments. That web page is found at: mobile.live.com/hm Alan Dennis wrote: ok here are the instructions for sending an atachment. Attach files to e-mail messages When you send an e-mail with Windows Live Hotmail, you can attach pictures and other files to your message. To attach files to e-mail messages: 1. In the left pane, click Mail, and then click New. 2. Click Attach, and then click File. 3. Click Browse. 4. Locate and select the file that you want to attach, and then click Open. 5. To add more files, click Add more files, and then repeat steps 3 and 4. 6. When you've finished adding files, click Attach. Notes To remove an attached file, click Remove next to the file name in the message header. If you've chosen to save a copy of your sent messages, a copy of the attachment is saved as well. Any file that you attach to an outgoing message is automatically scanned by Trend Micro antivirus software. If a file contains a virus, you won't be able to attach it to a message. Some e-mail programs, such as Microsoft Outlook, can block certain types of attached files to help protect against viruses. You'll be notified if you attach a file that others may not be able to open. For a free Windows Live Hotmail account, the maximum size for an attachment is 10 MB.
