Mac, you're not alone. Various programmes I have on my computer, using JAWS 8, will announce "tree view" each time I navigate it. I just ignore it for now, however some workaround would be nice, please. Thanks! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Agent86b" <agent_086b@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: Tree view announcement

Hello,
using the latest version of Jaws 8.
In the database program I use to keep my CD collection, Jaws is
announcing tree view before each item when I arrow down a tree view
of CDS. Jaws is Saying tree view then the artist name.
I have verbosity set to advanced, and can not find any other setting
to stop this behavior.
This problem does not occur with Jaws 710.
I seam to remember I had this problem with an earlier version of
Jaws, but I don't remember what version that was.
Hope I have explained this correctly.
Thanks for any help.
Max.
