Hi, this problem is rarely caused by lack of memory. Have your customer check his display setting against those recommended by Freedom Scientific, paying close attention to color schemes and the size and blink rate of the insertion point. He had a situation in January where he had to restore his computer from the manufacturer's disks. Ever since this happened, whenever he goes either to a website and tries entering forms mode or when he uses a program called Media Jukebox to play music, his JAWS studders. For example, he showed me how it said "po, po, po, po," in Media Jukebox. I believe the word he was trying to have it say was "pocket." I suggested to him he ad more memory to his computer as I thought that there wasn't enough memory for Windows, JFW and other programs to run. He has 512K of RAM. Has anyone heard of this happening and if so, do you have any other suggestions?
