Stopping and ReStarting JAWS

Hi All, 

I am using Windows XP Media Center along with JFW 9 and 10.  When I unload 
either versions of JFW and try to restart it, JFW comes up but without speech.  
This is most disagreeable.  I would appreciate any insight, suggestions, help, 
etc.!
