Hi Yardbird,
I'm not sure if this will work for you but I thought it would be worth a try. I've always used control p to stop play and then shift tab to get back to the list of programs. Once I'm in this list I hit alt and arrow down once to get the menus to respond.
I hope this works for you.

Luck and happy listening

Korin

Subject: Stopping Audible Manager play with Jaws

In earlier versions of Audible Manager, if you used it to play an
audible.com program, you could turn off the player by first pressing control
p for pause and then another key combo, like control e, I think. and then
you could resume navigating Audible Manager to use its other functions.
but in version 5, using Jaws, I can't find either a menu command or figure
out a hotkey combo to fully stop play and leave me able to navigate again in
Audible Manager,. the result being that I have to exit Audible Manager
completely, then launch it again, if I want to keep using it, including to
play another program. This doesn't seem right,as I even have the excellent
scripts that were provided to make the new version jaws friendly. But I
can't find the command, anyway. Does anyone know how to do this with Jaws?
It's a real pain having to exit the application just to resume using it
after I've played something. If the solution involves using the Jaws
cursor, please give clear instructions about where the virtual cursor focus
should be when turning on the Jaws cursor.

thanks.
