Excel
makes it easy to sort a range of values. You might not think of sorting spreadsheet values, but it can come in handy; sorting can help alphabetize a column of row names, for example. These steps are intended for Microsoft's Excel 97.

Subject: Sorting data in excel 2003

Hello Listers:

You guys are my last resort.

I need to sort a spreadsheet in excel 2003 in different ways, for various
purposes.

The fields are:  FirstName; LastName; Primary Phone Number; Email Address;
Address1; Address2; City; State; Zip; Date Joined.

For various reasons, I need to sort the spreadsheet by LastName, City,
State, Zip, Date Joined.

I have searched the menus thoroughly, without finding the sort function.

I tried using Excel's "Help" function, and not getting any result.

I will be very grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in anticipation.

sincerely:

Dave Durber
