hi Billy,

go to

Start/Settings/Control Panel/User Accounts

press tab until you hear

table "name" administrator

note: "name" must be your name.

press enter on it. After that press tab for once. You will get a list. the 
list are:

change my name, link
create a password, link
change my picture, link
change my account type, link
change my .net passport, link

put your cursor at the second selection and press enter.

you will get a enter a new password screen. Just follow the instruction.

Hey, guys!

    Can someone kind of step me through setting up passwords for logging
into my computer? -- I have tried to  do some homework on this, but all of
the help I find approaches it from a "sighted perspective."  Imagine that!

    I am using Windows XP Home with JAWS 7.0, and yes, I am the
Administrator of my system. Thanks in advance!
