I assume the columns wont be next to each other. If they are next to each other, you could just select one column, keep your finger on the shift key then use the left/right arrow keys to select further columns. I was a little confused whether you meant rows or columns, but obviousely if it is rows you mean, then you'd use up and down isntead of left and right.
