while in the menus,
press shift while useing the up or down arrows will speak the menu items.
I wish there was a easier way to do this.

Rob, I run Screamer using a braille display, and I can access the menus just
fine. Unfortunately I can't get Jaws to speak the menus.
Steve Zielinski uses speech, but he uses Window-eyes, and he says he can
access the menus just fine.
