Samara,
Is the good old Sound Recorder Application still on Windows? If so, it's a very
nice little sound editor. You need to convert your sound files to .WAV format,
but then you can cut off parts of a sound file and save the result. You can
also add reverb and change both the volume and the speed.
In my Windows XP the file is located:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndrec32.exe
