I used the insert+shift+r key combination in JAWS 7.1 beta to try replying
directly to a sender. The keystroke worked and the contents of my
clipboard was not altered.

Not sure what you're referring to. There are some interesting changes to the clipboard in Jaws 7, and there's also a script for addressing a reply directly to the subscriber who posted a message on a mailing list. But the two things aren't related. Which function are you actually talking about?

I just discovered this new feature replaces what you have in your clipboard with the name and address of the person you are replying to.
