If you're talking about data tables in Word, you can just down arrow through
the data reading it one cell at a time. If you want to read the entire
contents of a column, I don't know of a 'Say all' type command to do this but
you could simulate the effect using the Table, Select, Column menu items and
have Jaws speak the selected text.

You can format your text newspaper style using the Format, Columns menu items,
if you want to do it without using a table

I have a related question. Most of the time JFW reads tables pretty well these
days. However, there are those rare times when, for the sake of continuity. I
need to read a table a column at a time--newspaper style. Is there an easy way
to do this in JFW?

The best way to ensure alignment of columns in Word is to use a table. This
creates a series of 'cells' which you can type data into and Jaws will give you
feedback as to the row and column number containing the data.
