Something strange is happening here. I checked the tutor voice. I went
into excel, then pressed insert+j, then select voices, then individual
voice then I choose modify application, and when I tabbed to pitch, it
was the same as the pc cursor. I selected ok and when I returned to
excel, the row headers is stil speaking in a different voice.

Nicol,

The title information is given by the tutor and message voice. To change
this, go to the JAWS window and open the Options menu and into the
Voices submenu and press Enter on Individual Voice adjustment to open a
dialogue. You can tab around to see what the settings are each voice.
The status line contains a short help message which you can read with
Insert + PageDown. You can also press Insert + F1 on a control to get
more information.

By default, assuming you're using Eloquence, you'll only need to change
the pitch of the Tutor and Message voice from 60 to 65 to make it the
same as the PC Cursor voice. If you are going to change more than one
voice, press the Apply button after you've changed one voice before
choosing another voice, otherwise the changes won't hold.

Steve
