Well voice chat is one of the main functions as well as text chat.
Also lets say you are dealing with some one who does not speak your native
tung well.  Then it is easier to text chat with them.

Thanks.  I prefer to call but some people just prefer writing and others 
haven't even got a microphone which I thought was strange the first time I 
heard that as I was led to believe that was the main function of the 
programme.
