You must be refering to a web-based interface, or, a mailing list.
News servers (nntp) don't use activex controls.
I think that's what Marvin would like to use, but since I see he's using
a hotmail email address, he may not have access to a news server. If
not, you can buy access from some company like gigganews for less than
$10 a month usually.
