Hi Addison

The JAWS cursor is used to examine the screen more carefully so that you can get to different parts of programs. According to Jim's recent message, I would suggest getting Yahoo instant messenger 8.1. The accessibility is better with it so it's more likely to work with JAWS.

Hi Addison

I've seen this happen myself, and it's very frustrating. I think you can get to the parts of the screen you want, but you may have to use the JAWS cursor to do it. I noticed with Yahoo Messengers both 7 and 8, there seems to be a problem where the contact list doesn't appear, but if you use the JAWS cursor, and route it to the pc cursor, hopefully that should get you going in the right direction. The only other reason why I would think this wouldn't work is that your contact list might've been erased but I can't see that happening. I do hope that helps.

Hello Everybody,
I need your help with yahoo messengers 7.5,I just installing it this morning. When I tab to try to get the contact list ,so I can add the people from my address book and jaws doesn't say anything at all. But when I press the insert key + letter t for title jaws say something like yahoo messenger , then I tab and it still not say anything at all. Does this happen to anybody? Can anybody tell me how to use yahoo messengers? This is my first time using yahoo messengers. Do anybody know what is the problem could be? I will appreciated for the answer.

Addison
