Problem: global punctuation not acting globally

Hi, listers,

A co-worker is using Jaws7 on a Windows 2000 computer. He set his global
punctuation setting to "none" but now, in Word for example, all punctuation is
being voiced.
I checked the global setting and it was set to "none". I then checked the
individual punctuation for Word, and that was set to "none".
I went into the Jaws configuration manager for Word and checked the screen echo
which was set to "highlighted" which was correct. I check the text processing
punctuation setting and it was set to "controlled by Jaws" which is right.

Does anyone have any ideas of what is going on?

Thanks

Sincerely,
Allen Maynard
