Pine

Before my once Dream Machine, now laptop with lots of weaknesses
arrived, I used Pine with a shell account and a once Blazie, now FS, Type 'n
Speak for all email processing and Internet activities. I never once caught
a virus and I think it is nearly impossible to do so with Pine and Shell. I
really had so many fewer problems than I do today. Example, I have spent 2
days now and tried everything everybody suggested and I still cannot set up
a filter for jfw messages. A little frustrating? Sure it is. I have
downloaded and installed a wack of spyware detection programs and there
scripts, but don't know really how to configure them properly, so these are
the days that I long for Pine or Mudd even. If I could figure out how to use
Pine on this system with Jaws, I'd be first in line, I think. I am not savvy
with Lenux, but I sure can use Pine without problems. If I continue to be
violated by spyware and a hacker, then Pine looks even more appealing by the
hour. Jaws with XP certainly is a job rather than a pleasure as Email
processing was once with Pine, Shell and a100 Emulation terminal program
written by Sir Green from Arizona way.
I find it fascinating that you use Pine, Bruce, and how does it work
with JAWS?
Appreciate all those who tried, but nothing has worked in my probably 25
attempts to create a filter for jfw messages. I know this is not rocket
science, but I think probably more impossible than it to crack!
Back to work....
