I have seen this many times but I do not think it is a jaws issue. I did some
searching and found that one of the offending processes is "wms-st-notif".
This is the one that I have problems with and when searching the net I found
all kinds of complaints but no solutions. None of the complaints were
connected with jaws.
Can you isolate the offending processes?

I think there may have been a post on this about a year ago, before I belonged
to the list; however, the post pertained to JAWS 11.
I'm now using JAWS 12 (not the *58* build).
We have confirmed that JAWS does not release all Outlook processes when Outlook
is closed. The result is that the next time Outlook (I'm talking from Office
2003) opens, an error message is produced, and Outlook is highly unstable,
crashes in a matter of moments, and then won't start properly -- most of the
time.
I can avoid all of the above simply by turning JAWS off and then unloading
Outlook.
Similarly, JAWS needs to be unloaded when I start Outlook.
I've spent most of the day on this problem. The above work-around is certainly
not optimal.
Freedom Scientific reports that this has not been a problem with JAWS 12. The
recommendation is that I load the *58* build.
Wondering if anyone on the list has ever encountered anything like this.

Hi, Is there a way to turn off the type ahead or what ever it is called in
excel 2003.
I am filling in a spreadsheet with similar information and as I start to type
in the new data excel starts filling in the cel with the last information and
of course jaws starts reading it. I am finding it anoying and would like to
stop the chatter.
Any help is appreciated
