Peter:
I think I know what is going on. This can be maddening.
You probably are not seeing all your messages. My guess is that when you
up-arrow to the top of your in-box, the last (or top) entry says something like
"Today" or "Yesterday," or "Date."
If so, then go into View with Alt-V.
Then go to "Arrange By." I know this sounds illogical, but hang with me.
Arrow down, way down, to the entry that says "Show in Groups." That is
probably checked. Hit ENTER to uncheck it and exit.
This "Show in groups" may not be a problem for weeks and weeks. Then, one day
you will discover that you know you have messages, but you can't find them in
your in-box. There is no good way that I have found to get to these. The
"Show in groups" may be showing you only messages "Today" or messages "This
Week." If you get rid of the check by "Show in groups," you will be able to
access all your messages.
This is pretty obscure. You might save this for the next time it happens,
i.e., you change computers. I guarantee you won't remember this. I didn't.

Thanks. That fixed it. I didn't think to try that as I don't have to do that
using Outlook XP which I use at work.

Press Enter on the folder in the folder view, and you should then be placed in
the list, all populated. This is a quirky way that Outlook works. It needs an
Enter key pressed to work.

Subject: Outlook 2003 - no messages

Hi, I've just decided to start using Outlook 2003 and I've input my msn mail
account details and the Outlook connector has confirmed that everything is done.
If I go to my msn inbox Outlook tells me there are unread messages but when I
move in to the folder itself, the list is empty and even the status bar says 0
items. On the folder tree the inbox does say there are hundreds of messages
which is correct.

I'm using JAWS 11. Any help appreciated.
